Our Slopes
Here's a short guide to the ski areas in Bad Gastein, which is also part of Ski Amadé, which offers a total of over 760 km of fantastic slopes:
Bad Gastein & Bad Hofgastein: Skiing for the beginner and experienced skier with a snow park for the freestyle skier in Bad Gastein. The almost 11 km long pistes H1 & H2 in Bad Hofgastein are our favorites, especially in the morning.
Angertal is located between Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein, and is a mecca for families with children and beginners!
Sportgastein: The highest point in Ski Amadé and a paradise for the off-piste skier! In addition, you will also find the nicest wide blue piste in Sportgastein, S1, which is also a must-try. A sunny day in Sportgastein is completely magical!
Graukogel: One of the hidden gems of the Gasteiner valley, and the favorite mountain among the locals. It's small, but good! B2 is a nice wide red piste, from which you can catch the cozy blue piste B1, which winds through the trees.
Dorfgastein & Grossarl: The lowest but nicest area! Many wide blue boulevards, and an absolutely perfect family area. A great beginner snow park can also be found in Grossarl.
Après-ski & Restaurants: Bad Gastein also offers lovely après-ski! At Lederhosen, Silver Bullet Bar, Hexenhäusl, and Haeggbloms Bar you will find live music, a good atmosphere, and cold beers.
